MPhty (University of Queensland)

He has retired from tennis now, although the sport remains close to his heart.
Marcin’s knowledge across Physiotherapy is extremely diverse, having previously worked at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in Intensive Care, Emergency, Orthopaedics, and outpatient areas. He thoroughly enjoyed the hospital environment, finding it particularly rewarding seeing patients rehabilitate and discharge from hospital.
Since 2007 Marcin has worked predominantly in Private Practice. His extensive experience in all areas of private practice includes treatment of common injuries such as neck and back strains through to treating elite level sport people. Most notably Marcin has experience with professional Tennis players, Australian Women’s Touch Football Team and Brisbane Roar footballers.
Along with a keen interest in sport’s related injuries, and injuries of the upper limb, shoulders and neck, Marcin has a strong belief in the benefit of Clinical Pilates for rehabilitation and overall health, and has been teaching Clinical Pilates for more than 10 years. He is passionate about the role of Pilates in the prevention of injury, as well as strength in rehabilitation and this shines through in his enthusiasm towards Pilates.
In his non-work time Marcin enjoys time with his family, fishing, playing and watching football (an avid Saint Kilda and Everton supporter!), travel, food and wine.
Hannah Fannin – Physiotherapist
BPhty (Australian Catholic University 2021)
Hannah is a physiotherapist with a strong interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. Prior to completing a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Hannah completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Nutrition Science at UQ. This gives Hannah an excellent position in both prescribing exercises and manual therapy use across the rehabilitation journey. Her passion for physiotherapy stems from her own rehabilitation journey over the years, having played a number of sports as well as wanting to provide the very best care to her local community. Hannah was a support worker for people who have spinal cord injuries while completing her degree and comes to us after working in a private musculoskeletal physiotherapy clinic. She has also been involved with the AFLW Brisbane Lions team and worked with the Coorparoo AFLW teams.
Hannah has a special interest in physiotherapy for young people, in particular providing the most appropriate physiotherapy for young women as well as across their lifespan, understanding the differences and complexities that can exist. Hannah recently got engaged at the beginning of this year and spends most of her weekends hiking with her fiancée or looking at open homes. Her partner runs marathons so being a physiotherapist comes in handy!!

Kalos Chan – Physiotherapist
BPhty (University of Queensland 2016)
Kalos is a qualified physiotherapist, graduating with a First Class Honours in a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from University of Queensland. Throughout his studies, he has gained a vast interest in the field of musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, while gaining experience in a variety of hospitals and practices. In his final year, Kalos was part of the advanced research stream, which saw him researching the physical properties of the cervical arteries in clinical relevance to cervical arterial dissection.
Kalos focuses on a hands on approach, accompanying a firm belief in the importance of exercises to manage conditions and prevent re-occurrences from happening. As a result, he strongly believes in the many benefits that Clinical Pilates can bring and enjoys seeing patients improve from the classes. He is also qualified to practice dry needling, and uses it as part of his holistic treatment approach of a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports injuries. These include conditions ranging from the lower back and neck, to more acute sporting injuries in the extremities.
Outside of work, Kalos enjoys all sorts of physical activity, mainly spending his time playing basketball and volleyball, which explains his interest in shoulder, knee and ankle injuries. On top of that, he also enjoys running, pilates, badminton, hiking and the casual hit at the driving range.
